Tomorrows TEST will be postponed until Monday 
We will complete more in-class review in class on Friday



There will be a test Monday 11/4 in math 7 for periods 1, 8 and 9.  


The test will cover:

• unit rates, ratios
•  constant of proportionality
• ratio tables
• equations of proportional relationships
• graphs of proportional relationships
• scale factor and scale drawings

 Due to the length of the test it will most likely take more than one day.
 
Students were provided a review packet in class today to study from.

Test correction hints

What should test corrections look like:

• Separate sheet of paper
• Include a heading
• Write out solution to problem one time
• Include all work
• re-read question 2x to insure it has been answered fully
• if it include a graph or pictures please explain 
• you do not need to redraw graph just tell what correct version should look like

Don't forget parent signature.

TEST CORRECTIONS

In the mathematics 7 class, the opportunity to make test corrections is given infrequently.  Please take this opportunity very seriously since tests account for 40% of your marking period average.  To receive back one-half of the points that you missed please correct all incorrect questions and provide a full written explanation for your answer. We will model what this looks like in class and I will post reminders on my blog http://mrhowardsmathclass.blogspot.com/ . Test corrections are due no later than 10/10/2013.  Please answer all test corrections on a separate piece of paper, and attach it to the original test.  This printed sheet will serve as the cover sheet for the packet, which will include the original test then your test corrections. 

Please remember to get the cover sheet signed by a parent/guardian.
